Servicing, fault finding and repairs for commercial boilers and the plant around them, with a written report after every visit.

Overview

Boiler servicing & repairs across London and the South East

Commercial boilers keep offices, schools, care homes and hotels running, and they tend to fail at the worst time of year. CommGas services and repairs commercial boiler plant across London and the South East. Our Gas Safe registered engineers hold the commercial qualifications for the appliances they work on, and every visit ends with a written record of what was checked, what was found and what we recommend.

A service follows the manufacturer's instructions for each appliance. That normally covers combustion analysis and adjustment, burner and heat exchanger inspection and cleaning, condensate checks, flame safeguard and safety device testing, flue and ventilation checks, and a gas tightness test. We also look at the plant around the boiler: pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels and controls, because a boiler is only as reliable as the system it sits in.

When a boiler breaks down

If a boiler locks out, loses pressure or stops heating the building, call us during office hours on 01372 365060. We find the fault, explain it in plain terms and give you a price for the repair before we carry it out, unless you have agreed otherwise. Where parts are needed we tell you how long they will take and what can be done in the meantime.

For facilities managers

You get a report you can file against the asset and act on, with defects ranked so you can see what is a safety issue, what affects reliability and what can be planned in. If you look after several sites, we can line up the visits so they all fall at the right time of year.

For schools and bursars

We service school plant in the summer holidays where we can, so faults are put right before the heating goes back on. Reports are written so you can take them to governors or your trust without translating them.

For main contractors

We can take on servicing and defects-period visits for plant we or others have installed, with records that slot into the O&M file.

Can you price remedial works from another contractor's report?

Yes. Send us the report and we'll price the works and tell you which items we'd treat as urgent.

Do you offer an emergency call-out service?

No. We don't run a public emergency or 24-hour call-out service. If you have a breakdown during office hours, call us and we'll book you in as quickly as we can. Out-of-hours cover is only for our contracted maintenance clients.
